I haven’t had much to harvest in the veggie garden lately.  This is in part due to the deer, who have eaten the tops of the lettuce and the leaves of the strawberry plants.  I mean really, I live in a densely populated townhouse community and I’ve had enough deer already!  Can’t a girl get a break?!

Well despite the munching drama the garden does seem to have some yummy things to enjoy.

Red Pepper- Don't mind that it's still green for now! I love veggies that change color, it's an obvious signal for "I'm ready!"

Green Onions- ready for eating. (We planted these little guys back in March, they've been ready for a while but like most veggies they keep best still in the ground.)

 The onion made a delicious addition to this morning’s omelette!
