We spent the long weekend working on the “mudroom” and the hallway. Unfortunately, both areas require a considerable amount of cosmetic work.

The hallway has normal wear and tear, but lots of gouges in the wall. Maybe the previous owners used the space for jousting? It is the state sport, you know. The mudroom, on the other hand, needed better insulation and a total cosmetic overhaul. We pulled down the paneling, insulated and put up drywall (in a room so small the drywall was hard to maneuver and so cockeyed the pieces were quite the challenge to fit).
