Somehow I had this unrealistic hope that the boys were going to be really into egg dying this year.
In his own way, Henry was. He wanted to touch, play with and generally cause trouble with the dye. He settled for bossing us around and telling us what colors to make each egg.

As with all things, especially when children are involved, expectations, plans, schedules, everything that resembles order should be tossed aside with joyful abandon… chaos and flexibility will take their place.
